The Occasion Collective (TOC) Presents SLOW by Jamie Cook & Installations by TOC throughout Durham Castle.

IMMERSIVE LIVE SOUND PERFORMANCE AND PROMENADE.

COMPLEX, POLY-RHYTHMIC, SURROUND-SOUND TEXTURES CHANNELLED THROUGHOUT THE CASTLE'S GREAT HALL, WINDING STAIRS AND UNDERGROUND CHAPELS ALONGSIDE TRANSFORMATIVE INSTALLATIONS.

Musician and sound artist Jamie Cook has composed SLOW, inspired by minimalist pulse music. SLOW looks to explore the possibilities of acoustic/electronic collaboration through large-scale, immersive, meditative, promenade performance and installation. In response to Cook's work, the history and heritage of Durham Castle and it's surrounding research, TOC artists Bex Harvey, James Pickering and Adam Goodwin will display a number of audio-visual installations.
